  1. Why am I getting a bill from Associates in Pathology?
    Pathology deals with the examination of body tissues and fluids by microscopy and laboratory testing in order to provide your physician with information needed for diagnosis and treatment. The bill you receive from Associates in Pathology could be for one of the following:
    • The examination of your tissue – a biopsy or surgical specimen.
    • The examination of a cytology sample – often a Pap test or fine needle aspiration.
    • The interpretation of a blood or urine test.

    You can pay by ACH through your checking or savings account or by credit card. We accept Visa, Mastercard and Discover.

    No. Online access to your account balance is not possible. If you have questions about your account, please contact Patient Accounts, Monday through Friday, from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Call 715-847-0075 or toll free 1-888-228-3375. However, receipts for payments made through our website are available through your online account.

  6. May I still pay my bill by mail, either by check or credit card?
    Yes. Payment by mail is still acceptable. The online payment option is an added convenience to those who prefer this form of payment.

  7. Did you bill my insurance?
    Your statement will indicate any payments received and the name of the insurance company that Associates in Pathology billed. You should receive an Explanation of Benefits from your insurance company that matches the total billed, adjustments and balance due that are listed on your statement.

  8. What insurance plans do Associates in Pathology accept?
    We accept all insurance plans including Wisconsin Medicare and Wisconsin and Michigan Medicaid.

  9. What if I can’t pay my balance in full?
